Wearing my Phone to Overcome Hearing Loss

March 15, 2017

With advancements in technology, people with hearing loss no longer need to worry about missing out on important phone calls. A technological fitness gadget known as the Fitbit can be worn on the wrist and not only does it record the number of steps you take each day, it can also direct phone calls so that you can feel the vibration on your wrist each time you get a call!

People with hearing loss often miss out on several phone calls simply because they did not hear their phone ring. It can be a frustrating experience to get Missed Call notifications long afterwards, and realize that you missed out on some important communication from a loved one. Those frustrating moments are now a thing of the past!

Fitbit notifies you each time your phone rings or when you receive a text message. Furthermore, it also reminds you of your appointments for the day. Several smart watches such as the Ditto, can be clipped to your clothing and provide similar functions to help keep you alert, safe, and up to date so that your hearing loss does not interfere with you leading a product, active life!
